Home Grants/Scholarships Walter Coxe Fund The Walter Coxe Research Scholarships Educational The purpose of the Birmingham Audubon Society’s Walter F. Coxe Research Fund is to provide small grants in support of scientific research projects that are clearly applicable to environmental issues affecting Alabama. Grants will be offered as single awards in amounts ranging $1,000 - $2,500 each. The deadline is December 15 of each year.
