Birmingham Audubon Society

Birmingham Audubon Society 65th Christmas banquet will be held  at The Club, Redmont and Glen Iris Staterooms 1, 2, and 3.  The event will begin at 6:30 p.m. with a cash bar followed by a seated dinner and program featuring guest speaker, Danny Heitman author of "A Summer of Birds: John James Audubon at Oakley House," which chronicles a pivotal season in the life of the world's most famous bird artist. 

Reservations may be made by sending a check made out to BAS for $40.00 per person.  Mail to Mary Brewer, 3145 Warrington Rd., Birmingham, AL 35223.  Deadline for reservations is Nov. 30.  Guests need to indicate a choice of entrée, either 1) Red Wine Braised Boneless Short Ribs with winter vegetables and truffle mashed potatoes or 2) Eggplant Roulade with 3 cheeses and asparagus on a bed of sautéed spinach and whipped cauliflower.  All meals include salad, dessert, and tea or coffee.
